Newcomer Tactics for Double-Hand Poker

[ English ]

Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the western in an awesome game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the croupier, unlike most other poker games that players bet against other players. By wagering against the dealer, beginner players do not have to fret about other, more advanced gamblers winning their money.

An additional Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game pace, beginners can take their time and plan without having to make hasty choices.

It’s also simpler to bet on for a long time with just a tiny bit of money since, to not win, each of your hands needs to be lower than each of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the casino is given 7 cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
