Caribbean Poker Codes and Hints

[ English ]

Poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its television scores. Over the years several variants on the original poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the dealer broadcasting "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course all of the different players attain 5 cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s initial card, you have to either make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s amount is equal to your beginning bet, which means that the risks will have doubled. Abandoning means that your bet goes directly to the bank. After the bet is the conclusion. If the dealer does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus an amount in accordance with the ante. If the house has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The house pays cash equal to your ante and controlled odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
