Newcomer Strategy for Double-Hand Poker
Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the western in a great game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the dealer, unlike most other poker games that gamblers compete with other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, beginning players do not need to fret about other, more experienced gamblers winning their mulla.
Another Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game pace, novices can take their time and strategize while not having to make frenzied choices.
It is also much simpler to gamble on for a long time with only a small bit of cash after all, to lose, each of your hands needs to be under each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the casino receives 7 cards face down.
One 5 card hand and a 2 card hand need to be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the houses.
